Betty was born and raised in Texas, lived in New Mexico for 22 years, and now she is proud that she can claim to be from Oklahoma and the beautiful Lake Tenkiller area.
Her family fell in love with the Tenkiller area when they first visited Tenkiller State Park and Fin and Feather Resort about 18 years ago.

They came back each summer to enjoy the lake and the many amenities that the area had to offer. Now as a permanent resident Betty gets to enjoy the area year round. She also enjoys being close to her son, Trent, at OU and her daughter, Corby, at Oklahoma Baptist University.

Betty and her husband Steve are active members of the Gore First Baptist Church. Betty enjoys spending time with family and friends water skiing and wake boarding on Lake Tenkiller. She also enjoys playing golf at the Tenkiller Golf Course. She has even been known to do a little fishing in the area.
